Travel by car or coach

Coming from the north, on the A81 take junction 13 for “Mundelsheim”, then join the L1116 in the direction of Backnang. Before entering Backnang leave the L1116 and join the B14 in the direction of Winnenden.

Coming from the east, (from Nürnberg) follow the A6 in the direction of Heilbronn. At the “Weinsberger Kreuz” take the A81 in the direction of Stuttgart. Leave the motorway at junction 13 for “Mundelsheim”, then join the L 1116 in the direction of Backnang. Before entering Backnang leave the L1116 and join the B14 in the direction of Winnenden.

Coming from Munich on the A8, leave the motorway at junction “Wendlingen” and join the B313 towards Plochingen. Join the B10 there in the direction of Stuttgart. At junction “Fellbach / Waiblingen” join the B14 in the direction of Winnenden.

Coming from Karlsruhe on the A8, drive until the “Autobahn Kreuz Stuttgart”. Change to A831 / B14 direction “Universität / Stadtmitte Stuttgart”. Stay on the B14 through Stuttgart and head towards Bad Cannstatt. Before entering Bad Cannstatt follow the B10/ B14 towards Esslingen for a short distance. Then continue on the B14 in the direction of “Fellbach / Waiblingen / Winnenden.

Travel by train

Head for Stuttgart main train station („Stuttgart Hauptbahnhof”). There are local trains („S-Bahn“) running towards „Waiblingen / Winnenden” on a regular basis from the lower level of the main station. Take the line no. 3 (S3) towards Backnang. Get off at station “Winnenden”. It will take approximately 23 min to get from Stuttgart to Winnenden.

Travel by plane

Fly to Stuttgart airport. There are local trains („S-Bahn“ trains) running towards „Backnang” on a regular basis. Take the tram line no. 3 (S3) towards “Backnang”. Get off at the station “Winnenden”. It takes approximately 50 min. to get from the airport (Stuttgart Flughafen / Messe“) to Winnenden.

Tourist information is available at the Tourist Information Center at the airport building, Terminal 3, Level 2 arrivals.

Shuttle-Service

To use the shuttle service from Stuttgart airport to Winnenden, it is a requirement to book in advance! You can book it with the German Shooting Association (Deutscher SchützenBund - DSB). Please check for an announcement by the German Shooting Association regarding booking.

For guests who do not book the shuttle-service from Stuttgart airport, please make your own travel arrangements to and from Winnenden.
