Competition venue adjacent to the Herbert-Winter-Stadium

The competition venue is adjacent to the Herbert-Winter-Stadium in Winnenden. It provides ideal conditions for the sport of archery. The shooting field points south-north. So the archers will not be negatively affected by the sun. The field is large enough for approximately 60 targets. That makes it an ideal venue for national and international championships. The German Championships were held in Winnenden in 2006 with more than 600 archers competing. The European Junior Archery Championships will take place here from 13th to17th of July 2010.
